Spotlessly clean, excellent location, very friendly helpful staff, superb buffet breakfast - smallish rather expensive bar the only downside!
would recommend to anyone visiting vienna, and book through yeego for an excellent price.

The hotel is located near the city center. It is just 5 minutes away from the town hall, the parliament and near the metro station.
It takes about 45min to travel from the airport to the hotel with public transport .
We stayed fo 4 nights at the mercure josephshof (attention: there are 3 "mercure" in vienna). The room was very large and a little bit old-styled (dark wood, old parquet) but clean. There were a lot of wardrobes and commodes to stowage the clothes. The bathroom was also very large. Everything in the bathroom was new and clean. But there was not enough space to stowage the manicure case. (we had room number 116, 115 was much smaller than our room !!!)
the breakfast was good. A lot of different cereals, meat, egg's, juices and bread (you have to try all different kinds of bread, because there is no better bread than in austrie - trust me).
The only criticism, i have, is the personal. Evan we were not at the mean season, the personal seemed to be very stressed and a little unfriendly. (for example: when we left the hotel, we didn't get a "good by"). And be careful, the minibar is very expensive (4,5€ for a 0,5l bottle of normal water)
summary: the hotel is in best location for those who want to visit the cultural vienna and want to do sight-seeing. It is worth its money and ideal for people who do not stay the whole day in the hotel.

Big rooms with what you need, only thing missing was the do not disturb card. Great location 10 min to city and within walking distance from great restaurants and brewerys. Friendly staff, only some did not speak englisch.
