The room was very nice,clean with big bathroom and windows.Nice area and 15'-20' max from the center.
Although the reservation was for double bed-smoking and they gave us the complete opposite.
The breakfast wasn't very good.Small buffet and not very good coffee.

The room was spacious, well furnished, with a tasty chagall poster on the wall. The whole place was immaculate and there were even hooks in the bathroom. Breakfast was great, we are not fond of sweet things and there was plenty of savoury food. The only tiny problem was that we arrived late and there was no decent snack from the bar, only some frozen ciabatta, which was warmed up in the microwave, i guess. This is why they don't get a 10.

Very modern. Very clean with friendly staff. Location is quite out of the way - but 3 minute walk to underground so can access easily from there. Staff very helpful.

This hotel is situated in a suburbian area. The setting is quite dismal. The area does not feel safe: there are pickpockets, con-men pretending to be police or tourist asking for direction
around the hotel to catch unsuspecting tourists.
The hotel itself is not well maintained. The room is spacious but not in great shape. Tiles are broken and marks on the walls are clearly visible. There is very noisy buidling work next to the hotel, and they start drilling at 7am. In the heat of the summer, without air conditioning at all, if you leave your windows open, dont expect to stay in bed later.
The breakfast is pretty low standard. The coffee is horrible, a disgrace to Vienna I must say.
Services are bad. Some of the staffs are quite rude. As are some taxi drivers who tried to overcharge, even for a few Euro. I think this just reflect the fact that some people are indeed rather poor.
Overall, I cannot understand why this is a 4-star hotel. It is at best a 2.5 star by international standard. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Its location is not ideal for sightseeing (I selected it because it is closer to my business venue in the United Nation Area). I certainly would not return to this hotel even if they pay me.

The hotel was a little bit out of the centre but close to the underground which was very easy to navigate and a mere 2 stops away from the old centre. Rooms are large, clean and very cosy and little extras included with toiletries were most welcome. Check In was extremely efficient as indeed were any requests made during our stay. Breakfast choice was varied and delicious and staff extremely attentive in the restaurant. One major downside was the fire alarm going off an hour after we fell asleep and a loudspeaker sounding in every room and coridoor 'Do not leave your room and stay calm' that blared out for more than 30 minutes with no-one seemingly knowing how to turn it off!!!
