Location Overview

Mozart Hotel Vienna was built at the turn of the century, during the period of Emperor Franz Joseph. Originally planned as a dwelling house, it was named Egerlander. After World War II and intense renovations during the fifties, was the hotel named after the great composer, Mozart. It is close the city center of Vienna with all its historical and cultural events within easy reach with public transport.

Rooms Information

The hotel consists of 56 comfortable guestrooms, each equipped with standard amenities to ensure a memorable stay at the Mozart Hotel. Room amenities include color television with satellite, direct dial telephone, mini bar, radio, individually controlled air-conditioning and heating and an en-suite bathroom with bath/shower and hairdryer.

Am petrecut un sejur de 4 zile foarte placut la acest hotel. Am avut o camera cu 3 paturi, la etajul 4, foarte mare, in jur de 5x5 m, cu mobilier cam vechi, dar foarte curata, lenjeria a fost curata si schimbata la 2 zile, baia era f. mare cu cada si dus, permanent apa calda si apa foarte rece, buna de baut. Micul dejun a fost foarte bun, cu multe si variate feluri de mancare: unt,gem, sunca,omleta,cereale,lapte, ceai, cafea f.buna, etc. Hotelul este foarte aproape de statia de metrou Friedensbruke (linia U4) si de statiile de tramvai 5, 14 si D. Este la 3 statii de metrou fata de centru. Recomand cu incredere acest hotel celor ce vor sa petreaca un sejur placut la Viena.

A very good quality / price report. Close to downtown. Parking was free on the street (it was the weekend).

The room was clean but it was only when I was already in pyjamas that I saw the notice about the TV controller being available only at the reception with deposit. And there was no button on the TV to change the programs manually. In the bathroom several things didn't work: splashing toilet took ages, sink didn't work well, and it took a while to realize how the jacuzzi-shower works. Finally, for someone who lived in USA the hotel staff, both at the reception and in the breakfast room, could be more polite.
