The Graben is ideal for my residence when in Vienna. The rooms have a simple Baroque charm. The breakfast is generous and satisfying. The two women who maintain the breakfast room are pleasant and very hard working. The hotel's location is perfect, espcially with the inner city AB & C buses operating nearby. Otherwise, as much as 90% of what's worth seeing is within easy walking distance. The Cafe Halwekla, one of the most authentical is 25 feet away. The Reinthaler Beisl opposite the hotel is a delight, Then, the best
meal in town is probably served at the Ilona, a Hungarian place a few blocks away. - Only complaint about the hotel: there is no writing desk/table in the room.

Hotel was very nice with an excellent location near the Stephansplatz. Breakfast was also very good. It would be nice if the windows had screens so that the rooms could cool down at night without insects getting in.
