Austria Classic Hotel Wien, Vienna

The hotel was very good! Receptionists are friendly and kind. It's located near Wien Nord station so the access to the city center is good. I saw some of drunk people near station so you shouldn't walk around the station though the police office is just in front of it. Room is clean, breakfast is a big range of choice of bread, jam and drinks. The first day was so hot but there was no airconditioner. That was the only hot day, the following days are so cool and comfortable for sleep at night. (air heating is put into the place in each room.)

Great location, friendly staff, very clean, high quality furnishings, nice Sauna- rooms on the small side but offer excellent value. Older style hotel, wood panel ceilings a nice touch. Shower/toilet very small, but I only booked a single. Buffet breakfast goes quickly, so whilst they serve until 11am, all the hot food gone and most of the nicer bread rolls/ specialist chesses gone by 8.30am so limited choice after that, but you can ask them to boil you an egg. On sunny day can have breakfast outside. Second stay here and highly recommend.

The double room we stayed in faced a busy street, but when the window was closed virtually no street noises came through. Besides, the busy sounds of Vienna were, at least for us, a part of the character of Vienna, not a negative. The room was a good size ( I know they have smaller double rooms as well, which face the courtyard) and very clean. The staff (cleaning staff as well as the ones which look after the breakfast room in the morning) were always very friendly. The staff at the reception desk were patient with my daily questions concerning things like weather reports, or whether something we wanted to see that day was open or not. They always tried to answer the question, but in one instance I found that when I went to the attraction, English tours were scheduled once a day even through the brochure which we consulted at the reception desk stated that these did not exist without a large group making special arrangements ahead of time. So maybe it would be best to phone the attraction yourself so you can better plan your touring day. Anyway, the room was super, clean, bed comfortable, with a flatscreen TV, and a small writting desk. Non Smoking. The breakfast was also very good, with lots to choose from. Only criticism that my travel companion made is that the coffee was disappointing. Otherwise it was super. The location is outstanding as well. Near a large metro / train station (S-Bahn). Very convenient. I have stayed in this hotel a few times before, and will do so again when I am in Vienna.

Friendly staff, nice location, responded to emails before trip. But at check in first given front room on road, had requested rear room over courtyard and had email to confirm. So some loss of communication there, was moved easily and had nice big clean room, Breakfast good, internet busy but free, staff remember your name. Would stay again, wanted to try sauna and gym but didnt have time. No tea/coffee in room, but they will make you a proper pot ot tea in the bar for under 3 euro and you can take to room.
