The Radisson SAS Palais Hotel is superbly located in the center of the Austrian capital. Just a short distance away by foot, you will find famous attractions such as the State Opera, the Stephansdom and Vienna's fashionable shopping district. At the end of the 20th century the two former palaces were carefully incorporated into today's elegant 5 star hotel, offering all modern facilities and amenities. The hotel is situated only 15 minutes to all 3 of the main railway stations and only 20 minutes from the Vienna International Airport.
Rooms Information
All guest rooms are fully air-conditioned, have heated bathroom floors and come with the latest technical equipment. Rooms are equipped with working desk, direct dial telephone, iron / ironing board, mini-bar, modem / data port connection, remote control colour TV, pay-per-view movies and private en-suite bathroom. Non-smoking and anti-allergy rooms are available throughout the hotel and a couple of rooms have been adapted for our physically challenged guests.
Restaurants & Bars
The Palais Café is an all-day dining restaurant and Viennese café located on the ground floor of the hotel. Guests can choose either international or regional dishes, always prepared to the highest standards, as well as snacks and cakes.
Facilities & Services
After a hard day’s work, exhausting convention or stressful shopping, guests can enjoy intense relaxation at either the John Harris Fitness Centre or at the Vendome Floating-Centre. The John Harris Fitness Centre features an exercise room, sauna, solarium and sunbathing terrace. At the Vendome Floating-Center, you float in a bath-tube, which has the form of an oyster of about 7 square meters and contains natural salt water. Due to the weightlessness and silence you feel an immense relaxation and recreation. The water will be exchanged after each use and the severe hygienic regulations grant an absolute well-being.
Business Facilities
Hotel provides meeting facilities with fully equipped meeting rooms. All meeting rooms feature modern audio-visual equipment and are available for conferences, seminars, banquets, cocktail parties and other special occasions.

A very nice experience! large rooms good service, the free minibar with juices, soft drinks and beer was very smart. The breakfast included everything one ever would require.

Inchecking: bad and ignorant. Some of the managers at the desk were good, some were bad and didn't live up to the service you can expect as a silver member of sas eurobonus system. Rooms: small but ok. Food: nice. Location: good. I would expect this hotel to be 3-4 stars, not 5. Not value for money, compared to many other radisson sas-hotels around europe.

We enjoyed the stay and were pleased with everything. Their website promised a concierge service that were not longer there, but in some way performed in the reception.
