Sheraton Salzburg Hotel, Salzburg

The very large room with plenty of facilities, and very quiet.

Sheraton Hotel Staff (Salzburg) were extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms were very comfortable and highly equipped. Breakfast was the best ever selection we had experienced (incl sparkling wine!) I cannot fault the service at all. The only negative was the price of drinks in the piano bar (£8 for a Southern Comfort + lemonade).

We had a great stay in this hotel. The room was large and comfortable. the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was wonderful, there was a great selection to choose from. I would certainly go back again

We were upgraded to a large room overlooking mirabelle gardens. The staff were very courteous & acommodating. The restaurant was wonderful, I can't fault the food at all. We already knew the hotel & so were prepared for the location which was central to everything.

Excellent hotel, rooms spacious with robes, slippers, etc. Sauna, steam rooms, fitness centre seconds away and the main leisure centre attached with a token charge to residents. Main restaurant a bit pricey but bistro good value. Short walk to main attractions.

Hotel is in a good location overlooking the mirabel gardens. It is a good 10-15 minute walk to the centre of town (over the river) where the Christmas market is held. Hotel rooms are large and very comfortable with all the amenities you would expect from a 'big name' hotel. The only downside is that the food and drink are on the pricey side but a fantastic breakfast with a huge choice of cold and hot items including eggs and omelettes cooked to order. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Outstanding hotel,great price.The chap on the sound of music tour told us that the cast stayed here during filming.A short walk to Mozart bridge,great service,drinks a little pricey e7 for a 1 litre bottle of water from the bar but it keeps the rif raf out.

Reception, rooms, breakfast, location, etc. are OK. The parking service has to be explained when we ask to park our car. Now I have paid at the hotel desk 50 EUR and at the parking automat 35 EUR. With a word of explanation I would have saved the 35 EUR. Suggestion: why not organising a 'travel service to the festival site in Salzbourg' during the yearly "Festspiele". When it is "nice weather" no problem to do the walk, when it is raining than we all queu for a taxi with frustrating question "will we be in time "
