| noise from adjacent nightclub kept us from getting a good nights sleep - it goes on from 10pm to 4am in the morning and drones on. Sunday is the only night it doesn't open. We had to change room to a higher level just to get to sleep. There was no problem changing the room even at midnight! The staff were very pleasant - the food for breakfast was fantastic - cold and hot dishes. The views from the dining room overlooking the Salzach river were beautiful. The hotel was furnished beautifully and the location was right in the centre of the old town - perfect. I would rave about this hotel if only for the disco music which spoilt it - a great pity! I don't know if I would chance this hotel again because of this! If booking get a high up room then you should be ok. |

| The hotel is beautiful. I can't remember what kind of room I booked but was given a huge suite. Breakfast buffet was included with our room. It was delicious, probably the best I've had at a European hotel breakfast restaurant (and we've stayed at lots). The hotel is maybe 15 minutes by taxi from the airport and just a minute walk from central attractions - we went to see the Christmas market. Would definitely go back to this hotel. |

| Fabulous location in the old town. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff on the front desk. Twin room with dressing area, nicely decorated, comfy beds, large beautiful bathroom, very good housekeeping. Good breakfast, choice of cooked or buffet or both - incudes smoked salmon and sparkling wine for a bit of luxury. Can be busy at weekends and we had to wait to get a table on one morning. Its not 5 star, but it is very charming and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. |

| We had a beautiful room - in fact a suite of rooms (bedroom, sitting room, bathroom, separate toilet and a small terrace. Breakfast was exceptional with a wonderful selection of food. We ate dinner at the hotel one night and that was also excellent - delicious food and attentive service. Ideally located with the front of the hotel overlooking the Salzach river and the New Town and the rear entrance taking you straight into the Old Town. |

| Excellent location Rooms very clean and and towels changed every day. Breakfast very good. We choose to try small resturants for our evening meal. |
