| Hotel Stein is located on probally this best site in Salzburg within easy walking distance of all the tourist spots. They had a nice rooftop bar but lacked any sort of recreation activity, like pool, sauna, or massage. However all in all a good hotel that I recommend. |

| This was a complete rip off. It is supposed to be a 4 star hotel, but my room was 1 star at best. It was in a different section of the building through dark door and passage way. The room was narrow, window facing another building across less than 2 feet, there was noise throughout the night, not enough air circulation. When I was to check out in the morning, the only staff was too busy and couldn't help with my luggage. The only restaurant only serves breakfast. The terrace on the rooftop has a nice view, but you don't need to stay in the hotel to visit it. Did not enjoy the stay at all. |

| Very good hotel, with a great price from yeego. excellent location, within 2 min in the old town. we were lucky, because we had a junior suite. The breakfast is good but as other reviewers said previously something is missing. |
