| I would recommend hotel Astoria, as the rooms were great, the beds comfortable,(pillows not as great), staff helpful and only a 10min walk from old town. If we were to go back to Salzburg I would stay here again. Note double beds are 2 single push together. |

| Overall it was a nice hotel, clean, nice breakfast, relatively close to the city center. The hotel employees were kind and accomodating. However the rooms were not that great, at least in our case. We had asked for a triple room and we ended up with a double room and a single room, one next to each other. Furthermore the double room was not really a double room, at least not the way I know double rooms to be, because there was 1 regular bed and 1 "folding bed". |

| The Hotel Astoria was a very pleasant hotel. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfasts were good and the staff very pleasant and helpful. It is situated within walking distance of the Old town, but is on a trolley bus route which makes getting into and out of old Salzburg easy. It is a good hotel for a not too expensive holiday. |
