We went to Salzburg for 5 days and stayed at the Castellani. The hotel is very clean, modern and comfortable. The staff spoke English and were very good with helping to book sightseeing trips and dinners. The only downside is that it is a 25 min walk to the old town, but you can jump on the bus. The breakfast buffet was quite good, but we never got to eat eve dinner as there is a lot of choice in Salzburg town.

Restaurant food and staff were fantastic. Hotel staff were reasonably helpful. Close to the old town - easy enough to get to the sights on foot. Nicely decorated rooms - comfortable accomodation.

The Castellani was a 4 / 5 Star hotel and I can definitely say that I would stay there again. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and modern and very clean. Great shower and bath in the bathroom. Good breakfast buffet, nice fresh food and excellent selection. The hotel is located about 10 - 12 minute walk form the main old town square

The hotel was nice and clean. The breakfast was very good. However, there was delay in when we could check in, we were offered complementary coffee as compensation, which was a nice touch. Our room was adjacent to the hotel's main starircase, this meant we were disturbed all night with people running up and down the stairs.
