Rooms and breakfast is OK, ist is surely not a 5 star hotel, restaurant is not to be recommanded and the bar is not nice to stay there

Relaxing hotel with very nice rooms, easy walking to the historical center. Hotel facilities though a bit below ****.

We went to Salzburg for 5 days and stayed at the Castellani. The hotel is very clean, modern and comfortable. The staff spoke English and were very good with helping to book sightseeing trips and dinners. The only downside is that it is a 25 min walk to the old town, but you can jump on the bus. The breakfast buffet was quite good, but we never got to eat eve dinner as there is a lot of choice in Salzburg town.
