Weisses Kreuz Hotel Innsbruck, Innsbruck

The hotel is in a superb position for visiting the Christmas markets and for general sight-seeing. However, we had a room at the front of the hotel, where there was quite a bit of noise from revellers at the weekend. The room was spotlessly clean but fairly basic, though there was a table and 2 chairs. The breakfast was good - better than most hotels of similar rating. Although lunches and evening meals are not available, there is no shortage of restauramts close by. The hotel is only yards from the Golden Roof and bus/tram routes, on a quaint old pedestrian street. We would recommend this hotel, especially if you can secure a room at the back.

The hotel is centrally located. Room is spacious enough for the price we paid. The free breakfast provided is definately a plus plus! Overall it is value for money and above our expectation.

Very helpful staff, comfortable rooms with a peak of the mountains, quaint, historical hotel and right in the town centre.

Rooms were basic but very clean,breakfast was traditional continental style served in a very nice room,staff were very polite,courteous and helpful,very central location,would have no problems in going back again.

Location was excellent, rooms were bit old but very nice. One minus was that the rooms were carpeted, for athsmatic people not the best choice. Service was lovely and friendly.

The hotel is located right at the center of tourist spots. The building is well preserved from the medieval time but the rooms are renovated and supplied with modern comforts. The size of our double room on the third floor is just about right, not too large and not too small. Bathroom is new and clean. Our bedroom window opens to a magnificent view of the Alpine mountains. Unfortunately this brought in noises from the street below, especially at early hours from the street sweeping machine. You can still hear it with windows closed. If you're a deep sleeper then this shouldn't be a problem. Hotel staff are very nice and helpful, especially Veronica. Price-wise, I think it may be a bit higher than other hotels of the same grade but this is compensated by great location and friendly staff.
