The hotel is modern and well located just on the edge of the old part of Innsbruck. The rooms are spacious and comfortable however the decor is looking a little tired ... dents in furniture, paintwork marked. The staff were friendly and helpful - swapping our child's size bed for a cot promptly when asked. We also met the manager and Madame Penz herself at breakfast - it was nice to see the family still involved in the hotel. Incidentally, the breakfasts are great! Lots of choice - for both food and drinks.

This hotel was absolutely perfect (except maybe the reception lady a little bit too "cold") : perfect location, perfect rooms, perfect cleanliness but above all, this is the perfect place you don't imagine to find in Tirol where all the other hotels are a little bit to "old fashion style". Here all is moderne and hype. Special applause for the breakfast : maybe the best of my life in terme of QUALITY, I've already seen better in term of quantity or in term of service, especially the Intercontinental COEX in Seoul, but never seen such a breakfast in term of quality ! For instance there where 22 type of fresh (yes fresh) fruits ! Even fruits I've never seen before ! The claim of the hotel is "enjoy". Be sure it is true !

The room was quiet, clean and so good. A little detail: no WiFi connection. The rest was very good. The breakfast service was perfect with a good service and a good views of the city. The situation of the hotel was perfect for visiting Innsbruck. It's perfect for 4 stars.
