Excellent hotel built in 1909 with good service in all departments. Great location. Very good breakfast buffet. The bar and grill restaurant are kept "the old fashioned way". Fantastic interior details. The history of Argentina rests in the walls here. The rooms are ordinary but large. Swimming pool closed until further notice. This was dissapointing.

The hotel is good, the building is very beautifull and the location is incredible; however, they has some problems: the swiming pool was out of order, and nobody says it before your arrival;in the breakfast, you have a lot of fat food and a few fruits. The room was nice, and the bed was really good. Resume: some problems, but it's a good choice.

Pool was not available as advertised and this was very important.The hotel hosted wedding receptions on two of the three nights we were there and they were very noisey. A continuous thumping noise could be heard from the bedroom and on the second night only ceased after 5.00AM the following morning after a complaint. A refund is therefore being negotiated. The resident barber was very good and the best part of the hotel which does not deserve a five star rating.
